Monk

A little character I did for fun. Sometimes I find I'm kind of all over the place with ideas and seldom get to finish them, so I grabbed this little guy and worked him from rough drawing to colored on photoshop.

Nice stuff man. I'm loving the sudo old man with a goat face and lack of hooves. Very nice! You drapery is also very well done, and shaded... I really like this work as well as your other pieces. You've earned yourself a place in my blogger bestestes!

Yeah, I'm really all over the place with my interests and execution suffers tremendously. One week I wanna do a large oil illustration like Cornwell and the next I want to draw like a cartoonist.

Quick thought: You might try putting your brightest highlight on the center of forms instead of the edges of forms. (Unless of course it's a character in a scene that has specific directional light.) I guess it's kinda like when a 3d modeler showcases a design they use more of a global light, with simple light and shadow.

I don't know if that makes any sense man.
